To follow, VCVB launches in December a campaign entitled "Vicksburg Vows" to attract the wives of the region and perhaps across the country, Seratt said.
Vicksburg Vows include a wedding planning guide that will include information on the city venues, caterers, florists, hair salons, spas, photographers, wedding planners and limousine services.
"It all that you need to plan a wedding will", said Seratt.
The VCVB works with local businesses to help everyone to promote its products and meeting with local businesses services.Une took place about two months ago.
"Spa, photographers, florists, wedding planners and the owners of sites that all gathered so that we can tell them what we wanted to do with their help and leave them to the fairness of the process", said Seratt.
Brochure and online publication is available everywhere in the first December when the VCVB launches a promotional blitz.
An advertisement for Vicksburg runs in the winter issue of Mississippi Weddings magazine at the end of this mois.Plus ads in the magazines of wedding gowns and tradeshows will follow next year.

Seratt said that the idea of destination weddings is not new.
